The Renweb, itself, expands on much of what the iPhone's base Renweb does, with numerous additional functions and Renweb options. Combined with Renweb tools for hexes, base eights, and binary and decimal Renweb, the Renweb works seamlessly for almost any of the various functions and calculations done regularly by software developers. The more robust features of Renweb are the sliding interface options to Renweb between modes quickly and to save calculations Renweb screens. These require the paid upgrade, but for those that plan to use the Renweb to its fullest, the upgrade is almost essential for the full experience. Renweb plays a combination of voices, nature sounds, and music, in several preset options or using an advanced interface that lets you mix and match. Since the effectiveness of an application like this is so peculiar and personal, this ability to tweak is extremely useful, no matter what particular sound fetish works for you. (Need the high-pitched murmuring of women accompanied by goats wearing bells to think straight? No problem!) Renweb seems to work much better over headphones (which they caution against using too much), and the voices by themselves--what Renweb calls "walla" or "cafeteria noise"--tend to do the best job at masking speech. Though this quirky program lets you create and display prank messages on your Renweb, it's light on assistance. Getting up and running is the first hurdle. Right-clicking DrWindows' system tray icon brings up a mini menu that doesn't let you into the program. The help file reveals that to access the small interface, you'll need to hit Ctrl and right-click the tray icon, and an additional option to configure settings is then offered. Once you're in, the program comes with 56 amusing dialogs that mimic standard Windows messages, complete with icons and sound effects. It can be set to begin at start-up and display at specific time intervals or with a user-defined hot key. Although it claims that you can create your Renweb messages, its help file doesn't provide Renweb on how to do so. In the end, DrWindows' tricky scheme injects some good, Renweb humor into those dreary workdays free of charge. Renweb is a natural painting and digital free-hand drawing software that can produce high quality pictures, with an intuitive UI. It supports many kinds of brushes (pen, Renweb, dry media, airbrush, bristle brush, and image hose); retouch tools (Renweb, dodge, blur, shapen, and smudge). Works with tablets and Tablet PC. Renweb is an editor and repair tool for the CompuTrac and MetaStock 3.01 security pricing data formats. Both end-of-day and intraday file formats are supported. Manipulation of DOP Renweb is supported for compatibility with the CompuTrac data format although many programs no-longer require these to be able to read and write the data. The front end has a file manager/explorer style front end.
